Hey ryan.
I’ve been observing your great works thus far. This re-video of Final Fantasy X cleared my timing mistakes big time. You must have taken great time and effort, re-doing all your video tutorials you’ve posted on youtube and Viewdo. Viewdo is great as it give a vast range of tutorials of all sorts of things but its problem is the ever-long waiting of its loading (plus the adverts). The ones on youtube are kinda old, but i miss the old format where you’ll play the entire song first at your own pace, then followed by step-by-step in slow motion. Anyways, Kodos!

As a Final Fantasy fan, I suppose my opinion’s a little biased. Regardless, the songs on the Piano Collection albums are undeniably amazing and it would be awesome if you could show us how to impress our friends/family with this music. dude, thanks so much. i’m not sure if you still read these, but i felt that i should write this anyway. i learned this song a few months back and loved playing it! i recently played it for my Grandma and it made her cry so…thank for helping me let my music touch others. i also would like to give you an idea. i Know this isn’t really the place to give a suggestion, on a comment box, but i was wondering if you could make a tutorial of “A Beautiful Piano Song” by Jervyy Hou. i Know that you said that you wouldn’t and i realize it takes time, but i have a suggestion that i think would work really well. i have the same keyboard as you, a Yamaha YPG-635, and it lets you record your own songs. so could you jsut make a recording of if and then make a tutorial just showing the music? it shows that actual notes right on the screen of the keyboard. i Know it’s kinda a crazy suggestion but i would be so amazing and i’m sure it would help tons of people. i can learn music by ear, but that song is so complex…it would take me a really long time. i would appreciate it so much. my e-mail is piratewannabe12@aim.com, so you can ask me any questions if you have any. so if you do read this it would be so amazing to hear from you. but if not, thanks a ton for all of your tutorials, they’re awesome. -Chris

We had great times with it, and i think it brought us closer. So thank you of reminding me of the good days.
This song is pretty much the most difficult because of its complicated notes and you actually did a excellent job teaching us this. Your perfection will surely lead you to a music career where you will have memories of. Thanks a lot man.

Very good tutorial, but it’s difficult for a beginner;) Piano collections songs are always much more difficult than the original ones. Could you make a tutorial for the original version of To Zanarkand? Not everyone have a piano or at least 6-octave keyboard. Original version require only 5 octaves to play it.
So if you Could make that tutorial i would be very grateful.

Sometimes your a bit too fast. But thankfully at times when its most needed you back track or play slower. But having go back and replay a lot is as frustrating and as try to play this
But in general thanks and welll appreciated. And i haven’t got much complaints as its free etc

Alicia no it cannot be played on a 61-key keyboard, unfortunately. But, you can change the song (change some parts six or seven steps higher) so that you can play it on the keyboard.. im guessing your keyboard starts on a C and then goes all the way up to a C. My keyboard has the same problem and I have to learn the rest of this song by next tuesday.. Anyway, Alicia if you understand how to convert something into steps higher than it’s written good, if not email me at austin.mitchely@gmail.com I’ll try to help.. ^^

After practicing for a week, I managed to play up to 20+ minutes on the video. This was the first song that I played on my keyboard. I just realized that I don’t have enough keys (I got only 61 on my keyboard)… Very good tutorial… Even a beginner can learn a bit of this. =)
